Gudeg manggar is one variation of gudeg made from manggar (pistil of young coconut flowers) Gudeg manggar is cooked for 14-16 hours along with chicken, coconut milk, and spices, the duration of cooking is intended to make the final texture of gudeg soft, and this is what makes this gudeg special.
