Tiwul is a traditional food originating from the Gunungkidul area, tiwul is made from cassava that has been dried first, then then ground into flour and then steamed. In the past, tiwul was used by the community as a staple food.  Tiwul can be mixed with rice or corn so it is often known as tiwul rice. Tiwul can be enjoyed with side dishes and vegetables such as green lombok vegetables, tempeh bacem and so on.
