Jadah Manten (Snacks)

Jadah manten is a traditional food which is said to be the favorite food of the king of Mataram. Jadah manten can be found in many places, from traditional markets to modern markets. Jadah manten as the name of this cake was given because one of the Javanese customs is that when the prospective groom proposes to the prospective bride, he brings gifts, one of which is the Jadah cake. Jadah was chosen because Jadah is made from sticky rice so it has a philosophy so that both the bride and groom and the family remain close.
