Kembang Waru (Snacks)
Kembang waru is a traditional food typical of the Kotagede area, this snack is called kembang waru because it looks like a waru flower, this snack is made from the basic ingredients of wheat flour, eggs, refined sugar and cooking oil, this flower waru is a snack adopted from the Netherlands and England when colonizing Indonesia. In ancient times, this snack was considered a luxury food because it was only served at wedding celebrations and only certain groups of people enjoyed it, because the price of the raw materials for this cake was quite expensive.
