Yangko (Snacks)
Yangko is a traditional food originating from the Kotagede area. Yangko is made from sticky rice flour. Yangko has a sweet taste and is generally square in shape. In ancient times, yangko was considered a luxury food because it could only be enjoyed by the nobility. As time goes by, yangko has various flavors such as mocha, durian, chocolate, melon and strawberry. In terms of taste, yangko can be said to be similar to moci, only the texture of yangko is harder.
